A thin tape applied to receptacles ends solder-wicking problems.
 
Zierick's TapeResist solder-masking technology, available with all Accu-Pak receptacles, prevents solder from wicking onto internal contacts during PCB assembly. Consisting of a 0.001" (0.03mm) thick polyester film that is pre-applied to the receptacle, TapeResist eliminates the labor associated with manual plugging or masking of boards prior to wave soldering.
