Terminal-to-PCB Retention

The Stable-Lok® mounting design, originated to improve terminal-to-PCB retention, led to a popular standard.
The Stable-Lok® mounting design, originated to improve terminal-to-PCB retention, led to a popular standard.

PCB-mountable quick disconnect terminals and receptacles with Stable-Lok® mounting provide maximum retention in wire-to-board, board-to-board, and component-to-board applications.

Developed to prevent PCB solder joint terminal damage, Stable-Lok® technology is now a standard design for reliable mounting. Continuous or loose terminals are available in sizes from 0.110" (2.79mm) to 0.250" (6.35mm). PCB mounting hole size tolerance may be as great as ±0.004" (0.10mm), and all Stable-Lok® terminals are interchangeable with conventional quick disconnects. Also available in surface-mount or though-hole formats.

Stable-Lok® doubles terminal strength against deflection or fracture.
